Cynon Valley Museum is a local history museum and gallery space in the north of Cynon Valley in the town of Aberdare. It is managed by the Cynon Valley Museum Trust. There are two gallery spaces, the Lower gallery and the Mezzanine Gallery with a regular programme of exhibitions featuring local artists and community groups.

The Museum works with local art societies, schools and colleges, artists, artisans and craftspeople to create an exhibition programme. The Museum also has Exhibition at Home and Stories from the Collection which is an online gallery and there are regular digital exhibitions and articles researching the history of the Cynon Valley.
